In conjunction with the World Cerebral Palsy Day “I am here" international campaign, Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs celebrates World Cerebral Palsy Day by launching an extensive public awareness campaign across our social media platforms. The focus of this campaign is to highlight the exceptional talents of individuals diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy within the Zayed Higher Organization family who have been able to challenge disability through the launch of their talents and innovations in the community. One such individual is Huda Al Kaabi, an artist of incredible potential, who uses her creative gifts to challenge social preconceptions and push her toward success as a small business owner. Abdullah Rashid Al Maharami, also diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy which severely affects his physical abilities, has overcome all obstacles and is a talented poet and short-story writer, through the use of eye-gaze technology. In focusing on the individualism and capabilities of individuals with Cerebral Palsy, the campaign will also include athletes, students, employees, farmers, a horse-rider, a scuba diver and a jeweler, to name but a few.
For World Cerebral Palsy Day, Zayed Higher Organization arranged for this group of exceptional People of Determination to visit the world's first-ever Warner Bros. branded indoor theme park. The theme park features some of the world's most iconic characters and stories under one roof including: Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman as well as Bugs Bunny, Scooby-Doo, Tom and Jerry and The Flintstones, among others.
During the visit to Warner Bros.
