Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination has announced the inauguration of a dairy production facility at the Al Quaa Care and Rehabilitation Center, which is affiliated with the foundation in the Al Ain region. This initiative aims to establish a distinguished economic entity with active participation from people of determination to contribute to the economic development of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. This facility is the second of its kind after the cheese and dairy products factory located at the People of Determination Production Center affiliated with " Zayed Higher Organization" in the Al Bahia region of Abu Dhabi. Through these efforts, the foundation continues to develop workshops and vocational training to support the country's economic and commercial directions within the framework of "Made in the UAE." It represents a success in their efforts to empower and integrate their members into the job market and society by creating nine job opportunities for them. These individuals have been recruited to work in this field and have been trained to acquire the necessary skills and expertise.
The facility contributes to encouraging entrepreneurship among citizens by supporting farmers and herders in the Al Quaa region and its surroundings by meeting the daily production requirements of dairy products from these farms. Production varies from camel milk to various types of cheese and goat milk products. The facility markets its products through one of the private sector outlets in Al Quaa city, aligning with the country's goals for projects and economic entities that contribute to the development of the local community.
Abdullah Al-Humaidan, the Secretary-General of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, emphasized that the inauguration of the facility in the Al Quaa region aligns with the visionary guidance of the leadership. It is part of the foundation's efforts to establish economic entities in remote areas through its care and rehabilitation centers spread across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It is also part of " Zayed Higher Organization " continuous efforts to enhance the role of the nation's sons and daughters, continuously providing opportunities for them to participate in various vital sectors, while focusing on supporting and developing the capabilities of its members, people of determination, to make them productive individuals in society who play a fundamental role in its development.
He added, "With the inauguration of the new facility, we aim to market products produced by people of determination carrying the bee logo and open new markets for them, enhance the competitiveness of these industries and products, and work on increasing their marketing rates, which will greatly benefit the country's economy as a whole and the workers in this project, who are people of determination, in terms of employment opportunities and recruitment they will provide."
Abdullah Al-Humaidan further emphasized that the inauguration of the facility is a step towards promoting and supporting entrepreneurship among citizens, including herders and farmers in the region. It also reflects the efforts of Zayed Higher Organization to achieve sustainable development, as this new facility will operate according to the latest global systems and technologies in cheese and dairy production. It will be closely monitored by the foundation's management to ensure the highest standards and food safety requirements are met to preserve the quality of the final product and guarantee the health and safety of consumers.
