Five people of determination participated in the mass wedding organized by the Majalis Abu Dhabi at the Citizens and Community Affairs Office in the Presidential Court in Al Bateen Majlis yesterday (Wednesday) on the occasion of the wedding of 44 couples, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahayan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, member of the Executive Council, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, member of the Executive Council, and a number of sheikhs and senior officials attended the ceremony.
Five people of determination participated in the mass wedding organized by the Majalis Abu Dhabi at the Citizens and Community Affairs Office in the Presidential Court in Al Bateen Majlis yesterday (Wednesday) on the occasion of the wedding of 44 couples, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahayan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, member of the Executive Council, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, member of the Executive Council, and a number of sheikhs and senior officials attended the ceremony.
The participation of the five people of determination in the mass wedding came as the first product of registration in the family stability support system, “Mabrook Ma Dabart” for the marriage of people of determination, which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination in last September within the Abu Dhabi services of the unified government system "TAMM" to support this community group and encourage them by providing services to facilitate the building and formation of happy, stable and cohesive families.
People of determination completed a series of specialized training courses for those about to get married, organized by "Zayed Higher Organization" and "Family Development", to give them the appropriate qualification for that important step in their lives. Such training provides them with family support and guidance and aims to rehabilitate them and develop emerging families through distinguished institutional work, a qualified work team, specialized programs and effective strategic partnerships to achieve the highest percentage of family stability in society, and reduce the percentage of family problems resulting from people of determination's lack of knowledge of marital rights, interaction skills or understanding the other party.
People of determination made the necessary medical examination and tests to be reassured in this regard, especially through the Emirati Genome Program because it is a proactive step before their marriage. A reference genome map is developed for people of determination and their families by studying the complete genetic sequence, which contributes to the development of codes for disabilities in an attempt to reduce the occurrence of disability and then provide them with a distinguished treatment service.
On this occasion, His Excellency Abdullah Abdul Aali Al Humaidan, Secretary-General of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, congratulated the young people of determination of those participating in the mass wedding and their families, wishing them happiness and success in forming new families, caring for them and preserving their entity and stability. His Excellency also valued Aldar's initiative to provide grooms with Bishout cloaks for contributing to organizing this mass wedding and its keenness to strengthen community partnership and its active role in supporting the cycle of social development in the country and the stability of the Emirati family.
He stressed that based on the Organization’s role and vision towards equal rights that deepen happiness and community empowerment for people of determination, and to ensure their empowerment and raise the level of their independence and effectiveness within society, the Organization works to provide ways to form stable families for people of determination to build society on solid foundations and firm pillars, based on solidarity, cohesion and interdependence, in a way that translates the values of solidarity and principles established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, and in support of the vision of the leadership and the government which will achieve a stable family in a cohesive society, and to ensure a better quality of life for all, especially for people of determination who are about to build a new family,
It is worth mentioning that the "Mabrouk Ma Dabret", which is linked with the concerned institutions, provides a timetable of the dates of all annual mass wedding celebrations held in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which will be held during the year, with the aim of planning in advance to take steps from those who are about to marry from different categories of people of determination and allowing them to choose the appropriate date and location for them. Moral support, awareness and counseling services, including family counseling and guidance, are also provided.
The launch of this system, which will contribute to strengthening the government's efforts and its endeavor to develop and enhance the capacity of citizens, charge their energies and use them to serve the country, came in cooperation with Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination with the Demographic Structure Council and six entities: Crown Prince Court - Abu Dhabi, Ministry of Community Development, Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, Family Development Foundation, and Abu Dhabi Digital Authority, where "Mabrouk Ma Dabret" provides a range of digital services for people of determination who are about to get married to facilitate their marriage, in addition to meeting the social needs of citizens of determination in Abu Dhabi and providing the best levels of service, and supporting young people to reduce the costs of marriage and facilitate their marriage matters.
