Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination has launched an initiative to distribute 500 multi-use beverage containers bearing ZHO’s logo and COP28 logo to the visitors of the third Abu Dhabi Family Forum 2022, organized by the Family Development Foundation under the patronage of H.H Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Head of the General Women's Union, Supreme Head of the Family Development Foundation and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood "Mother of the Emirates" under the slogan "quality of family life in the fifties" on Hudayriyat Island - Abu Dhabi and continuing till December 18, with the participation of many entities.
Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination has launched an initiative to distribute 500 multi-use beverage containers bearing ZHO’s logo and COP28 logo to the visitors of the third Abu Dhabi Family Forum 2022, organized by the Family Development Foundation under the patronage of H.H Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Head of the General Women's Union, Supreme Head of the Family Development Foundation and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood "Mother of the Emirates" under the slogan "quality of family life in the fifties" on Hudayriyat Island - Abu Dhabi and continuing till December 18, with the participation of many entities.
The initiative emphasizes the cooperation of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination with all government and non-government bodies and the private sector in the UAE to preserve the environment, work to achieve the goals of comprehensive sustainable development, and identify the phenomena, issues and challenges faced by investing in all events.
ZHO stressed that the issue of the environment and environmental awareness occupies a major place in all files, conferences and events of the Organization, which is proud to bear the name of Late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the first environment man.
This initiative comes within ZHO’s efforts to preserve the environment and call for reducing the use of all types of plastic materials, as part of its participation in the third Family Development Forum to raise the level of environmental awareness for visitors, which is an opportunity to strengthen the State's efforts to protect the environment.
ZHO works to spread awareness of preservation of the environment among all its people of determination and staff and build their capacity, encourage their participation in environmental events and enhance cooperation and communication between institutions and associations that aim to preserve the environment. In this context, ZHO launched many community initiatives that call for environmental conservation, in addition to the launch of the green bee initiative to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the environment from various types of pollutants.
It is worth mentioning that the UAE is preparing to host COP28, the most important world climate conference, in 2023.
